
The exhibition entitled ‘Nothing’s Gonna Keep You Here’ Features seven talented artists with strong connections to New Brighton, a diverse showcase promising to be a celebration of local creativity and talent, captivating art enthusiasts from the community and beyond.
Martin Carr (previously of the Boo Radleys) and writer of the 1996 song ‘New Brighton Promenade’ will be showing his artworks for the first time, also exhibiting is Janine Pinion, Purchase Prizewinner of the Williamson Open 2018 and Dylan McDonnell a recent graduate from Central St.Martins whose work was featured in Italian Vogue last year. The event not only showcases the diversity and creativity within our local artistic community but also provides a platform for the artists to share their stories through their art.
The participating artists, each with their own distinct style and perspective, bring a collective energy that promises to transform Oakland Gallery into a haven of creative insight.
The opening night is scheduled for November 24th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, providing attendees with an exclusive first look at the artworks on display. The exhibition will continue to run from November 25th to December 23rd.
