Context
Super Slow Way is part of Creative People and Places, a national action research programme funded by Arts Council England to test out new and experimental approaches to arts and cultural activity in order to build audiences and participants in areas currently shown to have low levels of engagement. The Bureau is a vibrant arts centre in the heart of Blackburn, providing versatile space for arts activities, theatre, music, cultural events and community participation. The Bureau has a running programme of regular activities, one off events as well as available gallery space and space to hire for workshops, clubs and events. Artist Brief
We are looking for an artist to work with us on a part time flexible basis over a six to twelve month period as part of the team to help us develop ideas around the use of space in this context. This will be someone with vision and architectural experience who can help us explore possibilities for making better use of the space as an Arts Centre.
