University Centre St Helens Creative Arts Students Showcase Work
UNIVERSITY Centre St Helens (UCSH) final year Creative Arts students will be displaying their work at Gallery One in The World of Glass, St Helens.
From Saturday 30th April – Friday 3rd June 2016, between 9.30am and 4.30pm, the public are welcome to attend the free exhibition that will showcase the exciting work of graduating students from the University Centre’s BA (Hons) Photography, Graphic Design, Fine Art Painting and Game Art degree programmes.
This annual showcasing event is highly regarded and has become one of the most popular in St Helen’s art exhibitions calendar. It provides an opportunity for the public to see the work of over 40 new graduates.
Works on display will include paintings, illustrations, photographs, animations, graphic design portfolios and video game demos.
This year’s exhibition builds on the high standards of creativity that has been seen in previous year’s shows. Graduates that have exhibited at previous shows have gone on to work across the creative industries as photographers, artists and designers.
Victoria Roberts, Vice Principal at University Centre St Helens commented: “We are delighted this year to be exhibiting the work at The World of Glass. The exhibition is the culmination of our undergraduates work, research and experiences on our Creative Arts degree programmes. We look forward to welcoming members of the public to attend and see some of the fantastic student work on display.”
There are a limited number of places still available to join University Centre St Helens this September on its Creative Arts degree programmes. Anybody interested in attending should come to the next Open Day on Monday 20th June, 5.00pm – 7.00pm. It is an excellent opportunity to visit and discover the many courses on offer and get answers to any of the questions you may have.
